Katarzyna Sasiak

Katarzyna Sasiak, attorney at law in the Warsaw office of Miller Canfield.

With several years of experience in the field of real estate law, Katarzyna provides comprehensive advice to investors on real estate transactions. Her domain is procedural law, therefore she also provides active support in resolving disputes in various areas of law with particular emphasis on all issues of real estate law. Her practice includes representation at the pre-litigation stage as well as in the arbitration, and mediation proceedings.

Katarzyna has provided legal services to domestic and foreign entities, companies, and individual clients, i.e., from the real estate (shopping and service centers, warehouses) and construction area, automotive, telecommunications, IT, medical, food sector, and has also provided services to diplomatic representations of other countries in Poland.

The largest projects with her participation include:

  • construction of dozen commercial and service facilities throughout the country,
  • multi-threaded and multi-stage court proceedings (including administrative and administrative court proceedings) concerning non-performance of a preliminary sale agreement of real estate and non-performance of a construction contract conducted for the benefit of a company with foreign capital from the real estate industry,
  • multi-threaded litigation, including security and enforcement proceedings concerning infringement of copyrights to a computer program and prohibition of acts of unfair competition for the benefit of an entrepreneur from the IT industry,

Katarzyna provides legal services in Polish, French and English.

Regardless of her legal practice, she has been a sworn translator of French since 2020.
