Katarzyna Komolibio is an attorney at law in the Gdynia branch of Miller Canfield law firm, with which she has been working since 2018.

Her preferred areas of practice include advising on all matters related to personal data protection and information security, as well as competition and consumer protection, intellectual property law, and new technologies law.

Within her professional domain, she comprehensively deals with data protection, including implementing data protection systems, ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations, and handling proceedings before the Polish Data Protection Office (UODO).

She assists entrepreneurs, including foreign companies in aligning their practices with locally applicable regulations, provides legal opinions, analyzes, reviews, and tailors contracts and regulatory framework, as well as marketing content, taking into account consumer rights and clauses prohibited by the law. Additionally, she supports clients in proceedings before the Office for Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK).

Her practice also involves intellectual property protection, including securing intellectual property rights through patent offices, and protecting intellectual, industrial property, and copyright in business operations, including crafting and structurizing agreements.

She holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Gdańsk. Moreover she augmented her knowledge through an immersive year of studying law in French at Université Paul Verlaine in Metz, France.
