Dr Piotr Franczak, LL.M. (Lond.) graduated in law from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw and, independently, in sociology from the Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology of the same University. After completion of the legal advisors training he was admitted to the bar. Piotr holds PhD in law from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw (with thesis on the private international law) and LLM in Banking and Finance Law from the University of London. His scholarly interests include comparative law and in particular comparative contract law.
Piotr has been advising clients since 2007. During this time he has worked for both Polish and international law firms. His area of expertise covers above all real estate law. During his career Piotr worked on many transactions concerning acquisition of real property (both developed and green field), conducted lease negotiations of commercial and office premises and negotiations of construction contracts as well as assisted clients with respect to investment and construction proceedings. Piotr also advised one of the biggest insurer at the property marked in assessing risks relating to the property title and investment process in dozens of transactions.
Apart from native Polish, he is fluent in English and competent in French and German.
