Anna Kowalczyk-Pogorzelska is a licensed attorney at law (radca prawny) in the firm’s Warsaw office. She graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw in 1998 and additionally completed studies in English and European Law organized by the University of Cambridge. In 2003 she qualified as a legal advisor with the special distinction of the Dean of the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Warsaw. She specializes in real estate, commercial and administrative law. Her long-standing experience includes, in particular, advising foreign and domestic investors in the process of acquisition and financing of real estate acquisition, as well as preparation and implementation of investments, including supervision of administrative proceedings. She has been involved in the commercialization of shopping malls and retail parks, office buildings and logistics centers. She has also provided opinions on legal issues relating to real estate and enterprises on numerous occasions. As part of her practice to date, she has participated in the preparation of several hundred investment projects (both commercial, residential, industrial and warehousing) and has also been engaged in significant due diligence projects, with particular focus on real estate title check, including coordinating the work of a multi-person team involving the organization, due diligence and sale of a large real estate portfolio of a leading food operator on the Polish market in connection with its acquisition transaction. She is the author of publications on real estate law. Anna Kowalczyk-Pogorzelska is fluent in English and speaks good Spanish.
