Andrzej Czopski is a licensed attorney at law (radca prawny) and partner of the firm. He has been associated with Miller Canfield almost since its establishment in Poland. In 1992 he graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Gdansk. He is a member of the Gdańsk Bar Association of attorneys-at law. His specialization includes business law, labor law, and immigration law. Andrzej has extensive experience in providing legal services to domestic and foreign clients operating in various business areas, with a particular focus on the international maritime transport sector and engineering companies specializing in ship design and ship system modernization. He has participated in numerous foreign investment projects in Poland and has advised clients on M&A and joint venture projects, including those carried out for major international corporations.

As part of his legal practice, Andrzej represents clients in ongoing disputes, including mediation proceedings and litigation.

A significant scope of Andrzej’s professional expertise includes labor law. With extensive experience in this area and a practical approach, the team led by Andrzej provides our clients with comprehensive and effective services in this area. Since 1998, Andrzej has collaborated with the American Bar Association (Section of Labor and Employment Law) and the legal publishing house BNA Books. He is co-author of the book International Labor and Employment Laws, Volume II published in the US. He is fluent in English.
